I'm not going to repeat myself on th ewhole meaning of a 'preview/beta event', I just find it humorous watching people crap all over themselves over things that may change fairly drastically between now and release of GWF. Yes, it is only a month away for release, however that doesn't stop it from undergoing some serious change to fix certain flaws or issues that we've all lovingly found for them to fix.

not entirely... Even with a good, organized 4 man team, you still get paired with that wammo who has all forms of chat turned off and rushes the base defenders, but it's OK becuase mending will stop the defender's silly skill.

these alliance battles are complete chaos - i would like organised 12v12 myself, could make for a real interesting game type as opposed to ragequit fest where im the only monk on my frickin team for 8 warriors

I've faced IWAY in GvG before, and the map is no smaller in most cases.

I really like 12v12. There is a lot that you can do with a organised team of 4 even if the other 8 are less well organised. I'd rather have the current random grouping system stay instead of having complete 12 man builds running around. The unpredictability of this match is part of it's appeal, I think.
My only gripe is that even with two full districts on either side, it takes quite a while for matches to start. We should be allowed to play across servers ie Americans matching up with Europeans. Although communication may be an issue. lets say with French and Koreans playing together on the same side, being able to communicate within your team of 4 should suffice.

Luxons in Alliance Battles are a lot like the Zaishen in Heroes' Ascent: only the shittiest teams lose to them.
At this point anyway.
